SEATTLE -- MetaInfo, a leader in network and Internet Protocol (IP) address management solutions, has announced Meta IP version 5.7, a major upgrade to its market-leading product for IP address, DNS, and DHCP management.

Meta IP ensures the security, reliability, and performance of companies' networks by managing the processes that identify computers and allow access. Through its one-of-a-kind SAFE DHCP(r) architecture and SAFE DHCP Quarantine Appliance, Meta IP is the sole IP infrastructure management product that authenticates users and verifies the health and compliance of systems before granting access to network resources, eliminating the threat to the internal network of unknown users and security and policy compliance breaches.

With v.5.7, MetaInfo has included a number of improvements to make it easier for customers to utilize Meta IP moving forward, including reengineering portions of the core technology. "The enhancements in Meta IP v. 5.7 provide more choices than ever before in deploying essential network infrastructure services," said Grant Asplund, President and CEO of MetaInfo. "We designed Meta IP v. 5.7 to help customers more easily integrate the product within the enterprise, and to further help protect access to the network itself, rather than simply network resources."
