Imperva Agrees to Buy jSonar

The deal is expected to close in mid-October.

Imperva has announced an agreement to acquire jSonar in a deal that will bring jSonar's security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) platform and analytics to the Imperva application security stack.

In a statement, Imperva also announced that Ron Bennatan, founder of jSonar and Guardium, will join the organization to lead the Imperva Data Security business, which will encompass both jSonar and Imperva data security product lines.

Financial details of the deal, which is expected to close in mid-October following regulatory clearance, were not disclosed.
