Reading is fun, but it's not nearly enough for a community like Security Now. That's why we're excited to bring you a new weekly online radio show, Voice of Security Radio, beginning Thursday, June 15 at 3:00 p.m. EDT (-4 UTC). This week's guest is Marc Woolward, CTO of vArmour and former Technology Fellow and CTO for Networking and Telecommunications at Goldman Sachs. You're not going to want to miss the conversation!
It's easy to listen to our show and be part of the conversation. Register here and plan to join us as we look at how a security approach to devops is key to making sure that security is "baked in" rather than "bolted on" to enterprise infrastructure and applications.
Marc has more than 30 years of experience in mission-critical infrastructure and software-defined networks. He joined vArmour as CTO in February 2015. Prior to this role, he was a Technology Fellow and the CTO for Networking and Telecommunications at Goldman Sachs. He served as a member of the Technical Advisory Group and as the founder and leader of the Security Working Group within the Open Networking Foundation (ONF). Earlier in his career, he managed infrastructure at Cantor Fitzgerald and Coutts & Co. Marc has a decade's worth of experience architecting and implementing datacenter software automation, and private cloud architectures.
Voice of Security takes place in two parts: Part one is an audio conversation between our guest and yours truly. You'll be able to listen in a player that opens on the same page where you register and make your comments. The second part is when our guest and I jump into that text chat with you. That will be your chance to ask questions and make comments directly to our guest. Both pieces promise to be informative, enjoyable and a highly profitable way to spend an hour of your time on a Thursday.
So be sure to click here to register and mark your calendar to join us at 3:00 p.m. EDT (-4 UTC) on Thursday, June 15. We're looking forward to seeing you there!
