The Radisson hotel chain is notifying customers of a data breach after members of its Radisson Rewards program were compromised in a security incident.

Radisson Rewards first detected the breach on Oct. 1 and revoked access to the unauthorized party, the company reports. The attacker gained access to members' names, physical and email addresses, and, in some cases, their companies' names, phone numbers, Radisson Rewards member numbers, and frequent flyer numbers. Credit card and password data were not exposed.

All affected member accounts have been secured and flagged to monitor for additional suspicious behavior, the hotel says. While it reports the incident affects a small percentage of rewards members, it warns customers to be on alert for emails claiming to gather personal data by impersonating Radisson Rewards. The hotel won't ask for passwords or user data via email.

This marks the latest recent cyberattack putting travelers on alert. British Airways last week confirmed a second data breach affected 185,000 customers, after a hack earlier this year affected 380,000 payments. On Oct. 25, Cathay Pacific disclosed an attack compromising 9.4 million passengers' data, the largest breach of any airline to date.
