Cisco, Apple, Aon, and Allianz have announced a new risk management tool to protect businesses from ransomware and malware-related threats. The tool combines technology from Cisco and Apple, cyber resilience evaluation from Aon, and cyber insurance from Allianz.

Allianz determined Cisco and Apple would provide the system's technical foundation. After their cyber risk evaluation, businesses will deploy Cisco Ransomware Defense and qualified Apple devices including iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Combined with Aon's resilience evaluation, Cisco and Apple business customers will have more options for Allianz cyber insurance, including potential qualification for lower/no deductibles. They will also have access to Cisco and Aon's incident response teams in the event of a breach.
