The newest version of their high-performance VPN firewall appliance offers superior security and filtering, advanced protection, enhanced support and performance, improved filtering capabilities, and a completely new user interface. The company also announced that global sales of BorderWare SteelGate have more than doubled in the last three years, while sales in North America quadrupled in the first half of 2009 over the same period in 2008.

In addition, the new version will continue to provide anti-malware, anti-virus, and anti-spyware protection, and integrates with the BorderWare ReputationAuthority, an effective reputation system that blocks and monitors email and Web traffic at the perimeter. The solution's unique architecture and ability to track multiple threat types in real-time, allows it to make a more informed and accurate decision about network traffic and provides security, flexibility, and high performance in a single solution.
