SAN JOSE, Calif., -- CipherMax, Inc., the technology leader of enterprise-class storage security solutions, today introduced the CM100 family of storage encryption products for tape media and disk-based storage networks. The new CM100 product line offers companies a low-cost entry point for immediately implementing storage encryption, while providing the ability to scale up to hundreds of encryption ports when combined with CipherMax CM250 or CM500 systems. The CM product line marks the first storage encryption solution with intelligent features and integrated switching functionality that can be deployed and centrally managed from a single, global interface - a requirement for delivering enterprise-class storage security.

"Today's distributed, heterogeneous computing environments require highly scalable, but unified storage security solutions that can be centrally administered," said Ray Kao, chairman and CEO of CipherMax. "To meet enterprise strategic or tactical requirements, our CM100 products are the first line of storage encryption solutions that provide the ability to quickly and cost-effectively implement data encryption for both tape and disk, while simultaneously offering enterprises a long-term growth strategy for secure storage."
