LONDON -- CRYPTOCard (www.cryptocard.com), the leading authentication technology developer for heterogeneous environments, today announced that in response to the rapid increase in demand for its two-factor authentication technology worldwide and the recent release of its Managed Authentication Service, it has appointed Gary Marsden as Business Development Director. Marsden will oversee the continued expansion of CRYPTOCard’s rapidly-growing global partner program through the strategic development of international relationships with Service Providers, Systems Integrators and Technology Partners. The arrival of Marsden underscores CRYPTOCard’s commitment to its partner program, which is expected to account for 99 per cent of all sales worldwide.

With more than 15 years IT business development experience worldwide, Marsden joins CRYPTOCard from global systems integrator Getronics, where he led the development of the Microsoft Alliance and related business solutions across EMEA. He was also instrumental in the development of the company’s initiatives for a Microsoft managed desktop offering and a focus on key vertical markets such as Financial Services. Prior to working at Getronics, Marsden was based in Frankfurt, Germany with Tenovis GmbH & Co KG, (now part of Avaya) where he was Head of Marketing for business ventures in the Hosted and Managed Services marketplace – a key growth area for the company.
