REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- DigitalPersona, Inc., the leading provider of biometric authentication solutions for enterprise networks and commercial applications, today announced the DigitalPersona® One Touch® I.D. SDK, its new software development kit (SDK) which enables developers to create fingerprint biometric solutions with superior identification capability. The new One Touch I.D. SDK extends the functionality of the DigitalPersona Gold, Gold CE and Platinum SDKs by giving developers the ability to identify people on a large scale by connecting the fingerprint to a user’s authentication and personal information.

One Touch I.D allows developers to provide a more convenient method of fingerprint authentication by enabling applications with large data sets of fingerprint templates to perform high-speed searches on the collection of enrolled fingerprint templates. Users only have to touch a fingerprint reader to authenticate themselves, eliminating the use of an identifier such as IDs or PINS to start the authentication process.

"We have been anxiously anticipating the release of large-scale identification capability from DigitalPersona to its developer community," said Dan Filo, President and CEO of Landmark Group Holdings, Inc. "Biometrics is growing rapidly and DigitalPersona's new identification software development kit will enable us to create identification solutions for many customers in various markets."
