REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- DigitalPersona, Inc., the leading provider of fingerprint authentication solutions for enterprise networks and commercial applications, today announced the availability of the DigitalPersona Pro SBS Edition. Targeted at companies of 75 users or less, DigitalPersona Pro SBS delivers fingerprint-enabled secure sign-on and password management for Microsoft® Windows® Small Business Server 2003 R2.

"DigitalPersona Pro SBS works very well on Microsoft Windows SBS 2003," said Steve Lennox, vice president at Premiere Systems Solutions. "It's great that the Small Business Server community can reap the benefits of security and ease of use that were, until now, only available to larger organizations."

The DigitalPersona Pro SBS Edition is specifically designed to enable small-business users of Microsoft Small Business Server to manage, enforce and audit network-wide security policies for maximum business continuity with security and convenience. The solution deploys quickly and easily, and is available with two bundle options: a software-only package (server and workstation) for businesses using fingerprint-enabled notebooks and, a full package bundle that includes both software and DigitalPersona’s U.are.U® Fingerprint Readers.

“According to a report by IDC, Microsoft SBS installations will exceed the one million mark by 2009,“ said Amr Assal, senior product marketing manager at DigitalPersona. “DigitalPersona Pro SBS addresses a growing market demand for an out-of-the-box, and cost-effective fingerprint authentication solution that delivers convenience, strong network security, and assists with regulatory compliance.”
