PRESS RELEASE

DALLAS, Dec. 6, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Entrust, Inc., a global leader in securing digital identities and information, announces that its strong authentication and fraud detection solutions have experienced a 50 percent growth in sales year-to-date. This momentum is further qualified with more than 30 million Entrust IdentityGuard digital certificates issued to date, expanding the company's footprint as a leading strong authentication and credentialing expert.

Entrust will demonstrate these and other identity-based security solutions at the 2010 CARTES & IDentification trade show, Dec. 7-9, at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center in Paris, France.

"The proper authentication of identities is now critical for both physical and logical environments," said Entrust President and CEO Bill Conner. "And it's this convergence that necessitates secure multipurpose credentials that help safeguard access and protect the use of digital identities in all environment types."

Security experts at the Entrust booth (4L142) will showcase proven authentication offerings and services, including Entrust citizen eID solutions, Entrust ePassport technology, Entrust TransactionGuard fraud detection solution and Entrust Credentialing Services for smartcard projects and initiatives.

Entrust technology and services play a critical role in securing the recently deployed INTERPOL Global Smart eID & eVisa, which were presented to INTERPOL officers, staff and members during last month's 79th General Assembly in Doha, Qatar. This multipurpose credential enables INTERPOL staff and law enforcement officers, working on behalf of INTERPOL, to promptly and securely identify themselves at borders and INTERPOL facilities, as well as securely communicate online from remote locations.

Entrust security solutions are currently deployed in nine of the top10 global e-governments, as well as by more than 4,000 financial institutions, large enterprises and prominent organizations in 60 countries.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, CARTES & IDentification is the key international event for vendors, technologists and organizations in the digital security, smart technologies, payment and contactless sectors. The event features more than 30,000 square meters of exhibition space, 500 exhibitors from across the globe and 20,000 attendees. The event hosts more than 150 countries and includes companies that represent the major verticals, including manufacturing, software and security, engineering and identification.
