Hospital Signs With Encentuate

HOUSTON -- Houston-based University General Hospital Systems today announced that it has selected Redwood City, Calif.-based Encentuate, Inc. (Americas) as its preferred provider of single sign-on solutions. The University General Hospital flagship facility in Houston, which features the latest advances in medical technology and five-star service associated with luxury hotels, will be the first facility within the national hospital system to deploy Encentuate's TCI Solution for Healthcare. University General Hospital Systems currently has plans to break ground on another physician-owned hospital in Houston's Chinatown area, with additional markets such as Dallas, Denver, Phoenix, and others to follow.

Voted "Best Identity Management Solution" solution in 2007 and "Best Single Sign-On" Solution in 2006 by SC Magazine at the RSA Conference, Encentuate TCI will provide University General Hospital Systems with high caregiver productivity, protection of confidential patient information, stronger levels of security, and lower IT helpdesk cost by streamlining clinical workstation workflows and eliminating the frustration of remembering multiple passwords. More than 6,000 users within the national hospital system will enjoy fast, policy-enforced access to appropriate healthcare applications and network systems with the use of a single, strong password.
