Imperva Expands in Europe

Imperva announced the appointment of Jonathan Mepsted, formerly with Fortinet and NetScreen, as managing director for EMEA

LONDON -- Imperva, a leader in data security and compliance solutions for the data center, today announced the appointment of Jonathan Mepsted, formerly with Fortinet and NetScreen, as managing director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Mepsted will lead Imperva's expansion in key European markets where the company has achieved early successes in the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Italy. He assumes responsibility for EMEA business operations including sales, channel program development, and administration.

"Jonathan Mepsted has previously built and managed successful EMEA franchises for Fortinet and NetScreen, two of the world's leading network security companies," said Jim Drill, Vice President of Worldwide Sales.
