FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- Insightix, the developer of stateful IT visibility and network access control solutions, today announced that the company has secured strategic investment from SoftBank Capital. SoftBank Capital is an independent venture capital firm focused on high growth technology based businesses, whose previous investments have included seed investments in Yahoo, E*Trade and UT Starcom.

“We are proud that an investor with the stature and track record of SoftBank has taken a strategic position in Insightix,” said Lior Tal, CEO of Insightix. “SoftBank’s investment is a vote of confidence for Insightix and provides us the growth capital to amplify our momentum and access new markets and opportunities.”

Insightix will use the funds from this investment to expand its product offerings, engage major channel partners and boost its sales and marketing reach across the United States, Europe and Asia.

“We are very excited about our investment in Insightix as we think it is truly a very unique opportunity to capture significant market share in the rapidly growing market segment of Network Access Control. Insightix products provide both visibility and access control functionality that is clearly superior to every other competitive offering that we could find and does it in a non-intrusive way that make it very easy to maintain,” said Ron Schreiber, a Partner with Softbank Capital.
