AUSTIN, Texas -- Mirage Networks®, Inc., developer of patented Network Access Control (NAC)

technology, announced today that Intermatic, Inc. has deployed Mirage Networks Endpoint Control as part of its

network security defense‐in‐depth strategy.

Intermatic is a leading manufacturer of consumer and industrial energy control products in the U.S. Known for

bringing innovative products to market, the company applies that same innovative approach to its network

security.

“We have seen how network threats have harmed other organizations, and determined that Intermatic will not

become a statistic in the battle for network security,” said Pete Revel, senior project and technology manager at

Intermatic. “As we roll out a new network infrastructure, we recognize the importance of building security into

every facet. Making Mirage Endpoint Control part of our layered defense system puts us on the offense, by

delivering NAC along with a comprehensive intelligence that gives us a birds‐eye view of our network security

24/7.”
