Kang joins Secude SAP

Secude IT Security has confirmed the appointment of Eric Kan as Director SAP Security Technology

ZURICH -- SECUDE IT Security GmbH has confirmed the appointment of Eric Kang, one of world’s leading experts in SAP security, as Director SAP Security Technology.

Eric Kang joins SECUDE from SAP AG, where he was Platinum Technical Consultant and Senior Practice Principal. His unrivalled expertise in the security needs of SAP users and his detailed knowledge of industry trends and issues will add to what is already a world-class development team.

Eric Kang, who joined SECUDE on July the 1st, spent a decade at SAP where his recent responsibilities included NetWeaver – the company’s application integration platform. In addition, Mr. Kang held a position of National Practice Lead – Security at the SAP North America. He is a frequent and popular speaker at SAP conferences, where his experience, knowledge and insight to the industry is highly sought after.

Prior to SAP, Mr. Kang worked in the Twin City area as a software developer and consultant for over five years and was responsible for developing the world’s first generation of JDBC driver technology.

Mr. Kang was born in the south of China and obtained his Master of Sciences at Peking University, Beijing, China. After moving to the US, he graduated with degrees in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
