BURLINGTON, Mass. -- Klocwork, Inc., the proven leader in automated source code analysis solutions for improving software security and quality, today announced a partnership with Computer Engineering & Consulting, Ltd. (CEC), a leading Japanese provider of complete IT services.

The underlying software that supports everything from mission-critical business systems to mobile devices and home electronics continues to grow in functionality and complexity, placing more pressure on development organizations to implement next generation approaches to software quality assurance. To address this market need, CEC will be augmenting its PROVEQ software verification brand with the addition of Klocwork’s source code analysis products and services. The Klocwork capabilities will enable CEC customers to find critical security vulnerabilities and quality defects early in the development process and reduce their development and testing costs.

"Software quality is directly related to the source code analysis solutions you implement and the caliber of their quality and design,” said Hashimura, CEC's Executive Officer and PROVEQ Service Group Director. "Klocwork's product is an effective tool to check implementation quality. We believe that Klocwork has a strong solution that will enhance CEC's technical capabilities and satisfy customers’ software quality needs."
