PRESS RELEASE

SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Zscaler, Inc., the market leader in cloud-delivered multi-tenant Security as a Service (SaaS), today announced that the LANCO Group of companies has selected Zscaler to enforce Internet business policy and mitigate risks associated with Web 2.0 threats such as malicious active content, botnets and phishing attacks.

The LANCO Group of companies is using Zscaler's SaaS service for their employees across 16 operating companies located throughout the U.S., Canada and Central America. Some of the LANCO Group of companies include Mi-Jack Products, Mi-Jack Systems & Technologies, Q-Sales & Leasing, Walter Payton Power Equipment, Howell Tractor & Equipment, Greenfield Products, MJMC, Inc, and Mi-Jack Canada.

Before choosing Zscaler's cloud-delivered security approach, the LANCO's IT department was backhauling traffic from multiple locations to its Internet gateways where URL filtering was done using a traditional on-premise web-proxy based solution. With Zscaler, each of its 13 Internet gateways simply forward Internet-bound traffic to the Zscaler cloud. In addition to URL filtering, Zscaler provides security against a range of threats, enforces granular policy for Web 2.0 applications, and provides full visibility through its real-time, consolidated reporting. In addition, mobile users leverage Zscaler's distributed cloud nodes to enjoy the same protections as corporate users do without incurring any latency.

"With traditional solutions, we had to deploy and manage multiple point products at multiple locations or backhaul traffic to our headquarters, introducing latency and increasing our bandwidth cost," said Jerry Wasowski, director of MIS, LANCO Group of companies. "Zscaler allows us to consolidate point products, simplify IT administration and reduce cost, while offering rich functionality and ultra-low latency."

"Enterprises like the LANCO Group of companies are driven to reduce IT costs while improving security in today's ever-changing threat landscape," said Jay Chaudhry, CEO of Zscaler. "We are thrilled to add LANCO to our growing customer base and offer them the rich functionality at an attractive TCO (Total Cost of Ownership)."
