New Compliance Tool Upgrade for AD

SAN FRANCISCO -- NetPro Computing, Inc., a leading provider of distributed services management software, today announced the general availability of ChangeAuditor 4.0 and Security Manager 4.0, representing a significant upgrade to its security and compliance solution for Active Directory, File Systems and Exchange.

ChangeAuditor 4.0 now provides expanded coverage and alerting, with more than 160 new alerts for Member Servers, DNS, Registry, File Systems, and Exchange, as well as more than 20 new built-in reports enabling organizations to easily document changes and prove compliance with internal and external audit requirements. The solution also features new database maintenance capabilities and high-security tamper-proof agents.

ChangeAuditor's sister solution, SecurityManager also provides additional auditing and security coverage with Active Directory configuration protection, six new built-in security policies for real-time compliance monitoring and more new built-in reports for trending, resourcing, and regulatory compliance reporting. Both solutions are generally available today, and several major organizations, including the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Washington, D.C., and Food Lion, LLC, in Salisbury, N.C., have already beta tested and validated the power of the new solutions.
