CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. -- RippleTech, Inc. (www.rippletech.com), a leading provider of IT compliance and data security, announced Tuesday the release of Informant 2.0, an upgrade of its feature-rich, zero impact database security application.

What's New in 2.0

Informant 2.0 is a significant product upgrade, offering dozens of new features while continuing to provide database security without slowing system performance. Most notably, Informant 2.0 now provides a web-based administration console which enables an IT administrator to access Informant and monitor security from any location at any time. The web-based console offers a user-intuitive interface, eliminating the need to understand complex, behind-the-scenes functionality.

"We refined our Informant solution in direct response to the needs of the market," said Brian McDonnell, CEO of RippleTech. "From talking with our clients, we knew that increased accessibility would improve problem-solving and responsiveness for busy, highly-mobile managers, so we upgraded Informant to allow users to operate Informant online, anywhere, anytime," McDonnell continued.
