(NASDAQ: SNWL), a leading secure network infrastructure company, today announced its Next Generation Managed Service Provider (MSP) initiative to provide the partner community with new revenue opportunities offering the flexibility that meets the needs of today's business world. As the current economy continues to prove difficult to navigate, SonicWALL's new program provides the predictability and flexibility partners need in order to respond to customer requirements. The program, which is reinforced by the company's strong product portfolio, will help partners identify and act upon new growth opportunities by establishing themselves as MSPs as this sector continues to grow.

Already a channel leader, SonicWALL's Next Generation Managed Service Provider program is being rolled out in a four phases to both SonicWALL and non-SonicWALL partners. The second stage announced today, builds on the initial step that was centered on creating a strong, award-winning product portfolio that facilitates the creation of MSPs. Today SonicWALL rolls out the next step which includes a series of educational programs comprised of webinars, whitepapers and other training materials to partners highlighting the ease of becoming a MSP, in addition to providing the insight and knowledge necessary to do so successfully.

"We believe that it is now more important than ever for SonicWALL to deepen its commitment to the partner community and be in lockstep with our partners as they navigate the global economic crisis," said Jan Sijp, Director of Policy Management at SonicWALL. Continuing to leverage its existing MSP practices and Channel 2.0 strategy, SonicWALL will add components that will take the MSP program to the next level. The final two phases that will be rolled out later this year, include increased flexibility to support new business models and third party vendor support.

"As an existing SonicWALL Gold partner and MSP, we are constantly impressed by the support that the company offers us with regards to product and reseller support," said Stephen Kolbe, President, AnalySYS Enterprises Inc. "Using SonicWALL's CDP solution we found it easy to move from a project-based business to becoming an MSP and have reaped additional revenues in the process by passing on the benefits to our customers."
