PRESS RELEASE

Rockville, MD " April 14, 2009 " Triumfant', creator of patent-pending software that automatically discovers, analyzes and remediates unexpected changes and conditions at the endpoint, today announced the launch of Triumfant Resolution Manager v4.3. This new version builds on Triumfant's ability to deliver zero-day malware protection by detecting malicious activity in real-time, automatically removing malicious code and returning the desktop to its original state all within five minutes or less and without human intervention.

Triumfant Resolution Manager does not require signatures to identify malware; rather it uses patent-pending analytics to identify and remediate unexpected changes and conditions in the desktop environment. The Triumfant desktop agent continually scans each desktop computer for changes to over 200,000 attributes, including registry keys, security settings, port settings, and performance statistics. In this release, the enhanced Triumfant agent repeatedly scans security-specific attributes on an ongoing basis rather than the previous default scan cycle of 24 hours.

In addition to its new real-time detection capabilities, this version of the Resolution Manager includes significant enhancements to the remediation intelligence, eliminating the need for human analysis and administrator action to dramatically reduce response times. Once malware is detected, the Resolution Manager server automatically sends the remediation to the affected machine and issues the appropriate alerts and notifications to security administrators. This remediation removes the malicious software and repairs all collateral damage caused by the attack.

"As attacks are becoming more sophisticated and mutate faster than signatures can be created, it's critical to have a solution in place that continually monitors for suspicious activity at the granular level," said John Prisco, president and CEO at Triumfant. "By continuously scanning desktops and delivering real-time automated remediation, Triumfant is able to catch zero-day attacks before they impact the end-user and enterprise and eliminate time lost waiting for third-party analysis and the updating of signatures and patches."

The information and remediation for an attack on any one machine is also captured in a remediation filter, which can then be applied to all endpoint machines throughout the population to detect and remediate all occurrences of the attack. While competitive solutions require hours or days to address new threats, Triumfant's automated detection, analysis and remediation can effectively stop a zero day attack across the endpoint population within minutes.

Triumfant will be demonstrating Resolution Manager at the 2009 RSA Conference, April 20-24 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco in booth #2535.
