BETHESDA, Md. -- Fidelis Security Systems, the authority on extrusion prevention, today announced that the Air Force Information Operations Battlelab (AFIOB) has selected the Fidelis Extrusion Prevention System®, Fidelis XPS™, as a project for Operational Security (OPSEC). Fidelis XPS is an extrusion prevention system that performs real-time monitoring of computer network traffic and can prevent the unauthorized transfer of designated sensitive or valuable information.

AFIOB conducted a demonstration at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska to determine the military utility of the system. The demonstration showed that Fidelis XPS is a viable solution to the need for enhanced operational security and has great potential for assisting base communication personnel enforce security policy. AFIOB is now working to transition this capability to Air Force Information Operations.
