SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- AirMagnet Inc., the leader in security, performance and compliance solutions for wireless LANs (WLAN), today announced the on-time delivery of AirMagnet Laptop Analyzer 7.5, the industry's first mobile WLAN analyzer to natively decode and analyze 802.11n Wi-Fi networks. AirMagnet Laptop Analyzer provides instant visibility into all wireless channels, devices, conversations, speeds, interference issues and the RF spectrum, setting the standard for pre- and post-deployment management of 802.11n networks. Furthermore, the product will identify and classify 802.11n capable devices, identify higher data rates and channel modes, detect hundreds of security and performance threats, locate 802.11n rogue devices, provide troubleshooting tools and more. The release also adds support for the MicrosoftR Windows VistaTM Operating System.

"We've become the leader in our space by delivering innovative new features and functionality to the market first - support for 802.11n is no different," said Dean Au, CEO of AirMagnet. "We have more than 6,000 customers worldwide and although 802.11n is not set to be ratified until early 2009, many businesses are beginning to integrate 'n' devices into the network. In order to remain ahead of the adoption curve and proactively serve our customer base, we felt it vital to support the new standard."
