SAN DIEGO -- Akonix Systems, Inc., a provider of policy and risk management products for real-time communications, today announced Akonix L7 Enterprise(tm) v6.2, to provide instant messaging (IM) archiving, security, compliance and policy management for Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007.

L7 Enterprise further simplifies regulatory compliance, including support for e-discovery rules, by effectively streamlining unified communications management and policy deployment. Thanks to Akonix's 360° Security for Real-Time Communications(tm), employees can take advantage of Office Communications Server 2007's IM capabilities, including connectivity to public IM networks such as Windows Live Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger, with added protection against external security breaches such as worms and viruses.
