BALTIMORE -- Bluefire, a leading developer of security solutions for wireless devices, today announced the availability of the Bluefire Mobile Security(TM) Professional Edition version 4.0 on Bluefire's website. Bluefire's Professional Edition is designed to secure devices using Microsoft's Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system including Pocket PC, Pocket PC Phone Edition, and Smartphone.

Bluefire developed the Professional Edition to accommodate the ever-growing mobile and wireless market. The Professional Edition offers:

  • Protection for a lost or stolen device

    • Confidentiality of information residing on the device including

      email, personal banking information, or address books

    • Device security while accessing the Internet
