ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Data393, a leading Colorado managed IT infrastructure provider, announced today an agreement with Denver-based Peerless Tyre to host a virtual private network (VPN) for 60 Peerless Tyre stores across seven states.

By deploying Data393’s virtual private network, Peerless Tyre employees can share sensitive data between stores and access company information and online tools that are protected by a firewall and other filters. A VPN encrypts data transferred from the user's location to the destination server, preventing third parties from intercepting data.

"Peerless Tire Company has come to depend on Data 393 for critical IT infrastructure due to their reliability and quality of their service and support,” said Tom Barclay, Director of IT Operations for Peerless Tyre. “With Data393’s virtual private network, we are confident we can protect our company and our customers from fraud and identity theft while increasing our ability to monitor our stores online accurately and reliably.”
