AirTight announced that DoCoMo Engineering Shikoku has signed an agreement to resell AirTight Networks's SpectraGuard in Japan

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- AirTight NetworksT, the leading provider of wireless perimeter security solutions, today announced that DoCoMo Engineering Shikoku has signed an agreement to resell AirTight Networks's SpectraGuardR wireless intrusion prevention solutions in Japan. DoCoMo Engineering Shikoku is the first Japanese reseller signed by Active Inc. - AirTight Network's distributor for the Japanese market. AirTight Networks leads the industry in providing a robust, scaleable, manageable wireless intrusion prevention system (WIPS) solution.

DoCoMo Engineering Shikoku is part of the NTT DoCoMo Shikoku group of companies that is focused on providing customized technical solutions for wireless infrastructure to its customers.

Active Inc () distributes and represents several companies with different components of WLAN solutions in the Japanese market. "Active is proud to have signed DoCoMo Engineering Shikoku as the first reseller in Japan for AirTight Networks," said Mr.Yukihiro Tsutsumi CEO, of Active Inc. "Given the growth in WLANs in Japan and the importance of wireless security overall, this should be a large, rapidly growing market. Shortly, we will be announcing several more resellers for AirTight Networks."
