Lancope, Foundry, Lockdown to Host Seminars
Lancope, Foundry Networks, and Lockdown Networks host 'Closed Loop Threat Mitigation' seminar series with industry expert Joel Snyder
ATLANTA and SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Lancope®, Inc., the provider of the StealthWatch™ System, the most widely used network behavior analysis (NBA) and response solution; Foundry Networks®, Inc. (Nasdaq: FDRY) a performance and total solutions leader for end-to-end switching and routing; and Lockdown Networks, a leading provider of Network Access Control (NAC) solutions that ensure all users and devices on the network comply with security policies, today announced they will jointly host the “Closed Loop Threat Mitigation” seminar series in five U.S. cities in September.
Industry analyst and security expert Joel Snyder, senior partner of Opus One, will discuss the changing nature of network security, the impact of emerging threats and how to stay ahead of threats while improving network resiliency. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore a practical application scenario leveraging sFlow® from Foundry routers and switches for Lancope’s StealthWatch System and the Lockdown’s NAC platform.
Security and network operations teams with sFlow-enabled network infrastructures will benefit from attending the half-day “Closed Loop Threat Mitigation” Seminar Series held in the following cities:
September 10, 2007 Chicago, IL
September 11, 2007 Boston, MA
September 12, 2007 Herndon, VA
September 13, 2007 Atlanta, GA
September 14, 2007 Tampa, FL
“The network is a tool for allowing access, whereas network security is about limiting or controlling access,” says Joel Snyder. “In order to balance network availability with security, organizations must embrace integrated security into the network, which includes principles for leveraging control points within the network, gaining network visibility and pushing control into the network to security policy. This approach enables organizations to stay ahead of threats while improving network resiliency.”
