Lancope Keeps Customers Happy
Customer survey results reaffirm Lancope's StealthWatch System as the industry's leading network behavior analysis solution
ATLANTA -- Lancope®, Inc., the provider of the StealthWatch™ System, the most widely used network behavior analysis (NBA) and response solution, today announced that it has once again earned high customer approval ratings in the company’s annual customer satisfaction survey, reaffirming StealthWatch as the best enterprise solution for flow-based anomaly detection and network performance monitoring. Lancope maintained these high ratings following rapid growth in 2006. This year Lancope enjoys continued momentum and record growth, acquiring numerous U.S. government agencies and Global 2000 enterprises as customers – including the U.S. Department of Interior, AirTran Airways and Siemens Enterprise Communications – and was awarded a U.S. patent for flow-based detection of network intrusions.
In an August 2007 survey, Lancope found that 99 percent of customers surveyed reported satisfaction with StealthWatch product features and functionality. Lancope customers cited excellent customer support, scalability of technology, accuracy and speed of operational awareness, and network visibility among the top reasons for their favorable opinions about Lancope. Four in five customers found that StealthWatch saved considerable time in responding to network incidents and significantly increased productivity by providing accurate operational awareness of the network. Notably, 46 percent of customers recognized StealthWatch as a best-of-breed NBA technology and did not consider evaluating competitive technologies.
These findings reinforce Yankee Group’s recently published report entitled, “Adjust Your Behavior: Network Management Incorporates Behavioral Analysis to Optimize Performance,” in which analyst George Hamilton states, “Behavioral analysis provides visibility into all the network activity to optimize the end-user experience, understand and monitor for meaningful change, troubleshoot performance issues faster, and deliver value to both network and security operations…The bottom line is that behavior-enhanced management and monitoring provides needed visibility that can help network managers restore some predictability to network and application performance.”
