MUMBAI, India -- NeoAccel, the emerging leader in secure network access solutions, today announced that it has named Frank Guerrero as vice president of marketing. Guerrero will drive NeoAccel’s inbound and outbound marketing programs as the company builds market share based on its highly successful SSL VPN-Plus™ and NAM-Plus™ products.

“Since introducing SSL VPN-Plus to the enterprise in early 2006, we have rapidly gained sales based on the technical superiority of our products,” said Michel Susai, chairman and CEO of NeoAccel. “Now, we are ready to take on larger competitors head-on with an aggressive marketing program. Frank has the deep networking and security marketing experience to take us to the next level.”

“NeoAccel’s SSL VPN-Plus has made rapid success as a competitor in the SSL VPN market and going after the multi-billion dollar IPsec VPN replacement market,” said Subbu Subramaniam, general partner at Baring Private Equity Partners. “With NeoAccel’s explosive revenue growth quarter over quarter, we believe now is the time for NeoAccel to staff up its sales and marketing team”.

Prior to joining NeoAccel, Guerrero has a long history of successful engagements with Silicon Valley networking and security innovators such as SynOptics Communications, Bay Networks, VPNet Technologies (developer of the first commercial VPN network security appliance), and early networking pioneer, Retix. Most recently, he was at Sanmina-SCI, where he developed a strategy for marketing a line of network security products.

“The types and sizes of customers choosing NeoAccel over larger, more established vendors proves that NeoAccel products have been developed to meet market demands,” said Guerrero. ”I haven’t seen this level of interest in network security since the adoption of firewalls and VPNs in the 1990s. I’m excited about building the kind of market position and market share for them that they and the products require.”
