Sendmail Names VP
Sendmail announced the appointment of Kimberly Getgen Bargero as vice president of marketing
LONDON -- Sendmail Inc., the leading provider of enterprise solutions for secure, dependable and compliant messaging, today announced the appointment of Kimberly Getgen Bargero as vice president of marketing. Ms. Bargero is responsible for Sendmail's corporate and product marketing strategies. A seasoned executive with more than a decade of experience in the security industry, Ms. Bargero specialises in developing new products and services that solve the security challenges large corporations face.

Prior to joining Sendmail, Ms. Bargero was co-founder of Reconnex Corporation, an enterprise risk management company offering content-monitoring solutions. While at Reconnex, she drove the establishment of the Reconnex Insider Threat Index(tm) - the largest compilation of data gathered to assess the severity of the insider threat lurking inside global Fortune 1000 corporations. Prior to Reconnex, Ms. Bargero was founder and president of Power Marketing Services, a strategic consulting firm that specialised in developing marketing strategies for information security companies, such as IBM and VeriSign. Previously, she held product management roles at RSA Security and Compaq Computer Corporation where she helped launch a number of innovative security solutions. Throughout her career, Ms. Bargero has authored numerous papers and articles, and has been responsible for co-inventing ground-breaking, patent-pending technologies.
