SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. -- SurfControl (LSE: SRF), a leading provider of global on-demand, network and endpoint IT security solutions, today announced a new set of product offerings that enable customers to achieve greater levels of protection, flexibility and customization. The new product offerings include the worldwide availability of their new on-demand security services that provide customers with an additional option for securing their corporate infrastructures, whilst providing additional layered protection further safeguarding against blended threats.

Utilizing the on-demand technology obtained through the recent acquisition of BlackSpider Technologies, SurfControl's new service offerings -- WebDefense and MailControl -- provide fully managed, around-the-clock security services that are easy to install, scalable and supply an important "in the cloud" layer of protection. By leveraging the on-demand infrastructure, SurfControl is able to analyze e-mail and Web threats in real-time, providing customers with unparalleled protection against zero-day attacks.
