JERSEY CITY, N.J. -- Comodo, a global Certification Authority, today announced they have entered into an agreement whereby SWsoft will become a reseller of Comodo security solutions including Comodo SSL certificates. Web hosts will now be able to purchase Comodo's EV SSL certificates, InstantSSL certificates and other specialty digital certificates such as Wildcard SSL certificates from SWsoft. Further, SWsoft will acquire the assets and development center of the Positive Software (PSOFT) division of Comodo. With this announcement, Comodo and SWsoft are poised to offer one of the most robust and well-architected portfolios available to web hosts.

"PSOFT customers will benefit from an integrated solution portfolio, our extensive resources and high-quality customer support," said Serguei Beloussov, CEO of SWsoft. "Through our OPEN FUSION technology initiative we are committed to integrating hosting technologies, such as Comodo security solutions, and moving forward into new opportunities, such as software as a service (SaaS)."

This agreement reinforces Comodo's commitment to provide a tightly integrated approach to automated infrastructure solutions and eCommerce technologies that enable web hosts to help their customers create more trusted websites.

"Partnering with SWsoft is very important to us because we understand that web hosts need a well developed set of products and services to meet a diverse customer set," said Melih Abdulhayoglu, CEO and Chief Security Architect of Comodo. "We are very pleased that web hosts will benefit from our joint commitment to invest in new services and technologies designed for the special needs of the web hosting industry."
