Verizon Employees Sneak Peek At Obama Cell Phone Records
Verizon employees put on leave for unauthorized data access

Verizon late Thursday said it will reprimand employees who sneaked a peek at the cell phone records of President-elect Barack Obama.
According to an Associated Press report, Verizon's CEO apologized to Obama, saying all of those who had access to the account -- whether authorized or not -- have been put on immediate leave, with pay. He says those who took unauthorized looks will be disciplined.
CEO Lowell McAdam says the account had been inactive for several months and had no email capabilities. Obama aides say no voicemails or e-mails were accessed.
