ZeroNines and Sequiam will develop the world's first biometrically secure email and data storage portal for MyFailSafe.com
CASTLE ROCK, Colo. -- ZeroNines Technology, Inc., a provider of information security and high availability solutions, announced today it has reached a definitive agreement with Sequiam Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: SQUM) , through its wholly owned subsidiary Sequiam Biometrics, Inc., a leading provider of biometric technology and services, to co-develop the world's first biometrically secure email and data storage portal for MyFailSafe.com.
Alan Gin, CEO of ZeroNines commented, "Our longstanding relationship with Sequiam has been a collaborative technical effort providing secure and always available applications that began in 2005 to protect the World Olympian Association email servers. With global concern about individual privacy issues and the security of email transactions on hosted servers this is truly an offering that is necessary and timely."
Nick VandenBrekel, CEO of Sequiam Corporation, said: "The BioFailSafe offering is a great example of the Sequiam line of CLBs (consumer lifestyle biometrics(TM)) and affordably brings biometric fingerprint security to everyone with a personal computer who wants to ensure their email and data is only authorized by them."
ZeroNines patent pending Data Authorization Manager Appliance has protected the MyFailSafe Email portal running simultaneously in California, Colorado, and Florida for over two (2) years without a single disruption in service, despite occasional network failures and an outage in Florida resulting from Hurricane Charlie.
Gin added, "The ZeroNines FailSafe architecture provides seamless application availability, displacing the need for reactive fail-over and recovery solutions. We are able to provide the highest level of availability without modification to existing customer applications. We look forward to working with Sequiam in 2007 to create additional innovative security applications requiring virtual 100% uptime."
