PRESS RELEASE

WALTHAM, Mass. ' Q1 Labs, a global provider of security information and event management (SIEM) and log management products, today announced it has signed a distribution agreement with COMPUTERLINKS AG, a leading value-added distributor of IT security, IT infrastructure, and Internet technology solutions.

Under the terms of the agreement, COMPUTERLINKS is authorized to sell Q1 Labs' entire QRadar family of network security management hardware and software solutions to its reseller partners in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

At the same time, Q1 Labs announced the appointment of Wolfgang Huber as the company's regional manager for Central and Eastern Europe, a new position. In this role, Huber is responsible for managing the expanding firm's sales initiatives, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) relationships, and channel partners in this region. He reports to Matthew Nunney, Q1 Labs' Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) theatre director.

"We are happy to be partnering with Q1 Labs, as we believe the company's proven and highly differentiated SIEM and log management solutions are exactly what our reseller partners and customers are seeking when it comes to solving their security, risk management, and compliance problems," said Richard Hellmeier, CTO at COMPUTERLINKS.

"Due to ongoing external and internal security threats, coupled with various regulatory mandates, we believe the SIEM market is fairly recession proof in this part of the world," observed Keith Humphreys, managing consultant at EuroLAN, an independent London-based research firm and consultancy practice that specializes in assisting technology companies with their channel and alliance partnerships. "As it continues to expand and grow its business in this region, Q1 Labs is taking a very systematic approach with regards to its EMEA channel and distribution strategy by cultivating relationships with top partners, like COMPUTERLINKS."

Understanding that security management challenges vary by geographic regions, vertical markets, and organizations, Q1 Labs provides flexible product offerings that allow customers and partners to satisfy their unique security and compliance requirements and regulatory mandates, in both physical and virtual environments. With the company's QRadar family, organizations can centralize several network security management functions from various operational silos into a single, cohesive SIEM framework.
