Security BSides: Now Accepting Votes On Presentations

The sessions for next month's mammoth RSA Conference in San Francisco have been set for weeks. But for those who want a say about their sessions, the "alternative" conference -- Security BSides, taking place in San Francisco simultaneously -- is taking votes right now.

Security BSides, a counterconference that has been cropping up at major security events all over the globe during the past year, is designed as a sort of open-source, community-driven conference that enables security pros to speak informally about topics not covered in the coinciding event.

In San Francisco, BSides is considering a wide range of provocative talks, including "What the Vendor Isn't Telling You," "When CSOs Attack," "Screw the TSA," and "Open Security Intelligence."

Potential attendees can vote for the talks they want by using Twitter to state their preferences. Voting will close this weekend.
