PRESS RELEASE
Chantilly, Va. – The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has awarded TASC, Inc. a patent for its Program Protection Engineering (P2E) Toolkit. The scalable software assists users in managing security throughout the life cycle of acquisition programs, particularly those involving sensitive or classified information or materials.
“This unique technology consolidates security requirements into an invaluable system that provides standardization and accountability,” says Rich Rosenthal, Chief Technology Officer at TASC. “P2E’s systematic process identifies and protects the critical information, technology and resources associated with an acquisition program.”
The P2E toolkit provides a standardized methodology for program protection engineering, security management and report preparation for sensitive and classified projects. TASC program protection analysts can perform critical tasks such as managing milestones, generating required documentation, identifying critical system components and tracking operational security. The patented process allows for easy integration of new security components to support any federal acquisition program.
“At TASC, our goal is to invest in technology that will reduce our customers’ costs and make them more efficient,” says Rosenthal. “The P2E toolkit is only one of the ‘best of breed’ tools and processes that we offer.”
