F-Secure, the Finnish endpoint security company, has announced the purchase of MWR InfoSecurity, a privately held cybersecurity company with primary offices in the UK, the US, South Africa and Singapore. MWR InfoSecurity will add managed security services and the Countercept threat hunting platform to F-Secure's portfolio.

The deal, expected to close in early July, includes an £80 million ($105,987,600) cash payment for all outstanding shares of MWR InfoSecurity. In addition, £25 million ($33,121,125) in cash will be due after 18 months if certain business targets are met.
