Symantec CEO to Keynote at RSA

CUPERTINO, Calif. -- Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC) today announced that John W. Thompson, Symantec's chairman and chief executive officer, will keynote at the RSAR Conference 2007 on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 10 a.m. PT. Several other Symantec executives will present in various conference tracks including Applied Security Case Studies, Policy & Government, Wireless, Security Solutions, Enterprise Defense, and Authentication. RSA Conference 2007 is being held Feb. 5-9, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

In his keynote, Thompson will discuss the need to implement a broad IT risk management program and the importance of ensuring that customers have confidence in today's connected world. A live webcast of the speech will be available on Symantec's Web site at www.symantec.com/news. To listen to the live event, please go to the Web site at least 15 minutes early to register, download, and install any necessary audio software. For those who cannot listen to the live broadcast, a replay will be available on the site shortly after the keynote.
