BRACKNELL, U.K. -- Webroot, a leading security provider for the consumer, enterprise and SME markets, today unveiled the global expansion of its Channel Edge(tm) Partner Program that includes the integration of its award-winning Webroot® AntiSpyware Corporate Edition with AntiVirus software and its new Software as a Service (SaaS) security solution Webroot® E-Mail Security SaaS, while providing a number of new services including Web filtering, email archiving, business continuity and personal encryption for partners.

The Webroot Channel Edge Partner Program enables partners to deliver a multi-layered security approach providing better protection, lower total cost of ownership and better value than perimeter security appliances or software.

The expansion of the Webroot Channel Edge Partner Program to include the SaaS security offerings follows the recent launch of Webroot E-mail Security SaaS and Webroot's successful merger with Email Systems, a leading provider of SaaS for email and web.

"The tools we offer as part of our partner program are a great motivator for our resellers. No other security provider offers these unique advantages, specifically our System X tool, which allows resellers to identify competitive opportunities in a powerful way," said Mike Irwin, Webroot Chief Operating Officer.
