Andersen has considerable experience in venture investing and value creation, achieving significant growth and exits for several government grade counter-terrorism and cyber security companies including TRL (a defense electronics company sold to L-3 Communications) and Satamatics (a Satellite IOT company sold to Honeywell EMS). He was the COO of the Carlyle Group's European venture fund and a founding member of LabMorgan, the e-finance unit of JP Morgan. He has also been involved in the investment and incubation of a number of fintech and other ventures. Prior to that, he was JP Morgan's European Head of Credit Risk Management and was involved in many system implementations and risk management projects connected to credit and market risk, derivative transactions, EMU, and Y2K. He also qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte, specializing in computer security and audit, and holds in excess of 15 granted and pending patents.
