Gary Freas is a cybersecurity professional with 12 years of industry experience in information, installation, and personnel security; cyber threat intelligence; cybersecurity systems engineering; and risk management. After 10 years of naval service as a fire controlman working on sophisticated radar, computer, and targeting equipment, Gary entered the federal contracting sector, where he has remained for the past two years. Gary has an MS in cybersecurity from Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI, and holds a CISSP. In addition to his role in the federal sector, Gary is an adjunct faculty member of both George Mason University and East Coast Polytechnic Institute, where he teaches IT and cybersecurity.
