After 20 years of service in the Israeli defense and intelligence community, Lionel Sigal joined CYE as the Head of CTI (Cyber Threat Intelligence) Center, part of the Critical Cyber Operation (C2OPS) division, responsible for CYE's incident response operations. Lionel is an experienced security and intelligence professional with extensive strategic analysis abilities as well as hands-on experience. Lionel held several secret intelligence roles in the Israeli Prime Minister Office. Among these roles, he also founded and managed the Israeli MOD – Directorate of the Security of the Defense establishment (DSDE)-CTI branch, a state-level group consisting of high-level intelligence professionals.

Lionel received the Israel Defense Award twice, in 2010 and 2021, for his contributions in the field of cybersecurity.
