Michael Lines is Vice President, Strategy, Risk, and Compliance Services for Optiv, a security solutions integrator. He is responsible for leading Optiv's security experts in helping companies develop and run the security programs that meet their business, risk, and compliance needs. Lines has extensive experience in creating effective security programs for global businesses, taking into account the gamut of regulatory, cultural, and business challenges that exist when working in a multinational environment. He is an expert in security technologies as well as the practical, risk-based application of these technologies to solving cyber security problems.

Prior to joining Optiv, Lines held numerous executive roles at a number of leading technology, Internet, and financial services companies, including D+H, PwC, TransUnion, Fair Isaac Corp., and Narex Corp. Lines is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Professional and Certified Information Privacy Processional (CIPP).
