He is a recognized Substation Automation and Electric Energy Operation Technology Cybersecurity specialist with over 39 years in substation automation, protection and control applications, communications technologies, and cybersecurity for substations. Since the start of his career in 1984 as an electrical designer for the Brown Boveri Corporation, Steve has held various engineering, technology and product management positions within Hitachi Energy's North American and global substation automation organizations.
