William MacMillan, Chief Product Officer at Andesite, is an experienced executive leader, advisor and trusted voice on cyber, digital transformation and national security. Prior to Andesite, he served as the Senior Vice President for Information Security at Salesforce. Before retiring from the federal government, William served as the CISO at the Central Intelligence Agency, where he led a sweeping transformation of the CIA’s cybersecurity strategy and organization. Before this, he held multiple senior leadership positions at the CIA, dealing with various aspects of intelligence, counterintelligence and cyber operations. Throughout his career, William focused significant attention on insider threat, supply chain risk and incident response issues, as well as the development of CIA’s Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC).
