Joe Merces is the CEO and co-founder of Cloud Daddy. He brings more than 30 years of extensive experience in cloud services, information technology, cybersecurity, and data communications, with a diverse background in both private and public sector settings to his role. Prior to founding Cloud Daddy in 2017, Joe served as CIO of the New York City Law Department, the world's largest public sector law firm, where he oversaw all infrastructure and set technology strategy and service delivery across the agency, which spanned 18 offices throughout all five boroughs of New York City. In his role, Joe was responsible for all aspects of information technology, information security, network operations, administration, technical support, and application services. He left the public sector in 2017, seeing an opportunity to bring his extensive experience to the AWS marketplace, launching Cloud Daddy in June 2018.
